Reynolds Audio Production was started in January of 1990 in Santa Cruz, California by John V. Reynolds .
For many years, R.A.P. provided recording, sound engineering, production and consultation services to a wide variety of clients including musical artists, audio manufacturers (including E-mu Systems, Summit Audio and Antares Technologies), schools (including Stanford University and Cabrillo College), venues (including Villa Montalvo and the Henry Mello Center For The Performing Arts) and production companies (including Production Logic).
The business relocated in 2002 to Portland, Oregon, working out of Cool Blue Studio where John worked with many of the Northwest's finest musical artists.
R.A.P. is now promoting music released under the Reynolds Audio Production label, including The Dead Beetles, The Bonobo Champions, Thumptown, and John's solo albums Pay No Attention, Love Yourself, Oh Yeah!, Anthropic and Gratified.
